(I) (1) Psalm 135:2-3 [says]

“ You that stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God, praise the Lord, for the Lord is good ; sing to his name, for he is gracious.”

“The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in Truth .”

“The Lord is near to the broken hearted and saves the crushed in spirit

“For what other great nation has a god so near to it as the Lord our God is, whenever we call to him?”

(i) Isaiah 55:6 [says]

Seek the Lord while he may be found , call upon him while he is near .”

 

(4) (i) Psalm 73:28 [says]

“But for me it is good to be near God ; I have made the Lord God my refuge .”

 

(ii) Psalm 146:5 [says]

Happy are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord their God.”

 

(5) Is it true? He is faithful:

(i) In 1Thessalonians 5:24 [Paul says]

“The one who calls you is faithful , and he will do this . ” (gives you happiness)

 

(ii) 1 John 1:9 [says]

“….He who is faithful and just …”

 

(iii) Hebrews 10:3 [says]

“….He who is promised is faithful

 

(iv) Hebrews 11:11 [says]

“ [Abraham ] he c onsidered him [God] faithful who had promised”

 

NB: So Abraham found the promise fulfilled in his life even though he had lost his power of procreation .

 

(v) Hebrews 10:8 [says]

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and for ever.”

 

NB: Be hopeful in the Lord. He will make you happy .

 

(6) Psalm 146:1-2 [says]

“Praise the Lord O my soul! I will praise the Lord as long as I live ; I will sing praises to my God all my life long.”

(7) NB: Now a day many people need peace of mind.

 

(i) In john 14:27 [Jesus says]

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives.”

 

(ii) Ephesians 2:14 [says]

“For he is our peace

 

(iii) Isaiah 57:19 [says]

“Peace, Peace, to the far and the near , says the Lord; and I will heal them.”

 

(iv) NB: Our burden destroys peace.

Isaiah 53:4 [says]

“Surely he has borne our infirmities and carried our diseases.” (mental burdens)

 

NB: Jesus takes away your mental burden and gives you peace of mind.

 

(8) NB: He also takes away the punishments of our sin and bears them in his body so that we can be relieved from the punishments and sufferings arising out of our sin.

 

(i) 1Peter 2:24 [says]

“He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross , so that, free from sins, we might live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed .”

 

(9) NB: All the types of burdens he will take away and give you comfort and rest .

 

(i) In Matthew 11:28 [Jesus says]

Come to me, all that you are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest .”

 

(ii) Isaiah 53:5&10 [say]

“But he was wounded for our transgressions crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the punishment that made us whole ( perfect ) and by his bruises we are healed .”

 

“It was the will of the Lord to crush him with pain when you make his life an offering for sin, [/explain up to this/] he shall see his offspring and shall prolong his days.”

 

(10) Isaiah 63:7 [says]

“I will recount the gracious deeds of the Lord, the praise worthy acts of the Lord, because of all that the Lord has done for us , and the great favor to the house of Israel .”

 

NB: The Lord is so good; let us praise him and sing to his name.

(II) Eradication of Evil Spirits & Sin:

 

(1) Eradication of Evil Spirits

(i) 2 Corinthians 5:4 [says]

“What is mortal may be swallowed up by life.”

NB: The things belong to sin and death may be swallowed up by the power of life – the power of God

 

ii) 1 Corinthians 13:10 [says]

“But when the complete comes, the partial will come to an end.”

 

NB: when the mighty power from God that is complete comes, the partial & lower power of Satan & sin will come to an end.

 

iii) Romans 5:20-21 [say]

“But where sin increased , grace abounded all the more, so that, just as sin exercised dominion in death, so grace might also exercise dominion through justification (righteousness) leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

 

2) NB: Behold! The blood comes out from the wound of his elbow !

 

Blood washes our sin:

i) Hebrews 9:22 [says]

“Indeed, under the law almost every thing is purified with blood and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.”

 

ii) In Matthew 26:28 [Jesus says]

“This is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”

 

NB: The blood of Jesus washes away all the impurities and stains of sin and purifies our soul.

 

iii) 1 John 1:7 [ says]

“The blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin .”

 

iv) Ephesians 1:7-8 [say]

“In him we have redemption through his blood , the forgiveness of our trespasses , according to the riches of his grace that he lavished on us.”

 

v) Romans 5:9 [says]

“Much more surly then, now that we have been justified by his blood , will we be saved through him from the wrath of God.”

 

NB: Jesus received the punishment for us and shed his blood through that we have been justified and escape the punishment for our own sin. The blood of Jesus washes away all the stains of the sin from our soul.

 

3) Our sinful man ( III rd man ) the root of Sin is to be crucified:

i) Romans 6:10 [says]

“ The death he died, he died to sin , once for all ; but the life he lives, he lives to God.”

 

ii) Romans 6:5 [says]

“For, if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.”

 

NB1 : We must think that our sinful man ( III rd man) is united with Jesus. With our sinful man ( III rd man) he is dying. The death he died , he died to sin , once for all.

 

NB2 : In Mark 11:24 [Jesus says]

“I tell you, whatever you ask, for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours .”

 

iii) Romans 6:11 [says]

“So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.”

 

4) Influence of Sin in body (Gene) to be destroyed:

i) Romans 6:6 [says]

“We know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be destroyed , and we might no linger be enslaved to sin.”

 

ii) Galatians 5:24 [says]

“And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.”

 

(III) (1) Redemption form curses:

(i) Galatians 3:13 [says]

“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us.”

 

(ii) Isaiah 10:17 [says]

“The light of Israel will become a fire , and his Holy One a flame ; and it will burn and devour his thorns and briers in one day.”

 

NB1: Jesus is redeeming from even the ancestor's curse

 

NB2: The fire of Jesus is burning down and erasing all the inner wounds formed by shock, bitter experience, repeated failures, big failure, great sufferings, great victory, repeated success and things like that.

(2) Redemption form inherited characters:

 

i) 1 peter 1:18-19 [say]

“You know that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your ancestors , not with perishable things like silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ like that of a lamb without defect or blemish.”

 

ii) Romans 8:28-29 [say]

“We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.”

 

NB: other ancient authorities read, “ God makes all things work together for good”, or “in all things God works for good for those who love God”.

 

(IV) Let us derive the likeness of Jesus:

i) Romans13:12 [says]

The night is far gone , the day is near . Let us then lay aside the works of darkness and put on the armor of light .”

 

ii) Colossians 1:19 [says]

“For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell.”

 

iii) Colossians 2:9-10 [says]

“For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily , and you have come to fullness in him , who is the head of every ruler and authority.”

 

iv) 1 Corinthians 6:17 [says]

“But anyone united to the Lord becomes one spirit with him .”

 

v) Romans 6:5 [says]

“We will certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his .”

 

NB: You should believe that the divinity and likeness of Jesus is transferring to us from him.

 

vi) Ephesians 2:4-5 [say]

“But God, who is rich in mercy , out of the great love with which he loved us even when we were dead through our trespasses , made us alive together with Christ - by grace , you have been saved.”

 

vii) Romans 8:10 [says]

“But if Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness.”

 

(V) New life:

Colossians 3:8-10 [says]

“But now you must get rid off all such things- anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive language from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have stripped off the old self with its practices and have clothed yourselves with a new self , which is being renewed in knowledge according to the image of its creator .”
