You are children of God

1) In 2 Kings 15:27-30 [we read about an history]

a) Pekah son of Remaliah was the king of Israel .

b) He ruled Israel for 20 years.

c) He did what was evil in the sight of the Lord.

d) Jeroboam son of Nebat was once a king of Israel who caused Israel to sin.

e) Pekah did not depart from the sins of Jeroboam and lead a wicked life.

f) He did not repent for his sin even when the Lord permitted him 20 long years to live.

g) The result was that Hoshea son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah and killed him . After that he became king.

2) Psalm 94:23 [says]

“He will repay them for their iniquity and wipe them out for their wickedness ; the Lord our God will wipe them out.”

3) Revelation 18:2 [says]

“He called out with a mighty voice, “ Fallen , fallen is Babylon the great! It has become a dwelling place of demons , a haunt of every foul spirit , a haunt of every foul bird , a haunt of every foul and hateful beast .”

NB: Babylon that is full of wickedness had fallen. Like that, every wicked man who is filed with filthy things will be wiped out . His name will be taken away from the book of life.

4) Revelation 20:15 [says]

“And anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.”

NB: But the Lord will be a helping hand for the children of God.

5) In Joshua 12:7-24

We see Joshua defeating 31 kings.

6) When we read Joshua 13:1 & 6

We see Joshua at his old age, even after defeating 31 kings, Lord said to him the list of kings to be driven out and the Lord promised that he himself would drive them away.

7) Isaiah 50:7 [says]

“The Lord God helps me; therefore I have not been disgraced; therefore I have set my face like flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame ;”

8) NB: We can see the glory that God gives to the children of God in the life of Apostle Paul:

Acts 19:12 [says]

“So that when the handkerchiefs or aprons that had touched his skin were brought to the sick, their diseases left them, and the evil spirits came out of them.”

9) In Isaiah 49:15 [The Lord says]

“ Can a woman forget her nursing child , or show no compassion for the child of her womb ? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you.”

NB: The Lord is mindful of his own children.

10) Isaiah 49:13 [says]

“Sing for joy, O heavens, and exult, O earth; break forth, O mountains, into singing! For the Lord has comforted his people , and will have compassion on his suffering ones .”

11) Isaiah 49:23 [says]

“Then you will know that I am the Lord; those who wait for me shall not be put to shame. ”

NB: Do you afraid of your problems?

12) In Isaiah 51:13 [The Lord asks]

“You have forgotten the Lord , your Maker, who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth. You fear continually all day long because of the fury of the oppressor, who is bent on destruction.”

NB: Our Lord is mighty Lord. Do not forget about his compassion. Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God.

14) In Isaiah 51:12 &14 [Lord says]

“I, I am he who comforts you ”

“The oppressed shall speedily be released; they shall not die and go down to the Pit, nor shall they lack bread.”

14) In Isaiah 51:5 [Lord says]

“ I will bring near my deliverance swiftly , my salvation has gone out (started). ”
